 No, that's just the drop from year 3 to 4 for the original XB. If the 360 was announced in this period, I doubt it made much of an impact (and even less if it wasn't of course :P)

Also, I've heard that Nintendo has never shown a non-profitable year in their entire existence. They didn't lose money on the 64 or GC, I know that much.
