can anyone remember what happened last to the 360 prior to its price cut? It dropped sales. I have spoken to several people who are holding back buying a ps3 as they await a price cut. People are telling them to wait ( I know that since I've told all my friends to do this who want to buy a ps3).
Whether we get one or not, the bottomline is, the rumoured price cut is possibly another factor why sales are down.
I think a price cut will all depend on how well KZ2 shifts consoles. If there is a surge in sales, they will hold it off for longer. 200,000 a month is still pretty good for a console twice the price of it's competitor. The profits made from a surge in sales will only benefit Sony and ps3 owners as it will allow Sony to re-invest it on the IPs we are all waiting for.
