So in a rising market the Wii is taking off, the 360 is follwing that market and the PS3 is falling hard... if this was extrapolated over the whole year it would be very ugly for Sony... Solutions? Well.... obviously the only one that will turn this is a price cut? But is it too late? Are the buying habits of this gen set? Thoughts?? |
Sony needs to add price cuts around the time of sales boosts (3rd & 4th quarter). The 1st and 2nd quarter should go properly for Sony because of great anticipation for Killzone 2, InFamous and a couple other expected games. Really and truly if you want my opinion, wait to spell out Sony's fate for 2009 after E3. This one will be the last and I believe that they will go out with a bang.
