There are a few demos I have played and enjoyed the demo. Each demo really sells me or leaves me hanging. Unless Sony sends me a review copy or I find it for under $25, I won't be picking this up soon. |

You can't judge it based on three playthroughs! You need to try Alternate 2 AND Standard 1, with HUD and Crosshair on and off each time! 
Played it nine times myself, including once in German.
Oh, and the graphics are intentionally "blurry", that is what real life looks like you know. Try staring at a wall opposite you. Your hand is blurry, yes? That's what they're doing. Play through it again, bearing this in mind. Also, put the brightness lower. Much lower.
