I don't understand how the same people who defended the PS3's sales when it hit 8,000 units in Japan with the claim that it was a "slow week" can bash the Wii for only selling 40,000 systems in a week ...
40,000 units a non-holiday week with no half decent releases is a good week. When you factor in that worldwide sales were very stable and that it would have been reasonable for Nintendo to shift units to North America to sell along side Metroid Prime 3 it becomes clear that Nintendo has nothing to worry about.
