I have only ever saw one console on a store shelf, in the US still, and it was in the middle of being sold. I'm still in the market for one, just like a lot of my friends.
If you sell out a console, no matter what the area, it doesn't necessarily mean you're losing base support. It could be that simple answer of less being available - and a few people hit it right on, worldwide sales are up. |
The Wii isn't even supply constrained in 2/3's of the world (Europe, Japan) at this point. |
Typical holiday sales for consoles are 10 times or larger than other time frames, especially summer seasons.
While demand in summer is down, I highly doubt the Wii will be meeting demand come December.
Numbers: Checker Players > Halo Players
Checkers Age and replayability > Halo Age and replayability
Therefore, Checkers > Halo
So, Checkers is a better game than Halo.
