Well, Wii Fit has sold more than 9M. We know that much, so they're not really that good on a sales-related note. That way, VGChartz does seem a fair amount better (meaning that claiming they're biased would be silly), but I get your point.
They don't seem like they have an anti-Wii bias for other reasons as well. (Compared to VGChartz numbers) - They're low on Gears 2 (400K low) - They're INSANELY low on MGS 4 (They have 2.5M... A million, if not more, low)
Other than that, they're low on a fair amount of Nintendo titles as well. SSBB - They have 7M, which is 1M low at least. M&S - 2.5M. They only count DS (I find excluding Wii because it launched in 07 stupid... Exclude Wii Fit, will ya?), but they're still almost 1M low. Pokemon - They're just OUT OF THE LEAGUE wrong. They say 2.5M, how much is it? Diamon/pearl = 3.9M Pokemon Ranger - 1.7M Platinum - 2.3M Dungeoun 2 - 2.7M Dungeoun 1 - 100K
Total = 9.7M, and including the Wii version, it beats 10M. It's freaking 4 times higher than their number!
- Kung Fu Panda - 1.6M? WTF? VGChartz has it at over double of that.
So I seriously doubt their numbers, but not because of a bias - they simply have bad numbers. |
This is precisly my point. If you have a qualm, question their data, not their bias.
