It looks like the PS3 and Xbox 360 basically sold the same amount in 2008

i don't think any 3rd party will go exclusive this gen(well 85% of them).  even if you money hat them they rather sell their game on both platforms.

 

Yeah, I agree with this.

Exclusives are minor this gen on Ps3/X360. For developers, they're almost considered an platform combined I guess.

 

So it is really (as many have said) "Should I put my title on Wii, or Ps3/X360 (and possibly PC)?"

exactly,,,and this is the very reason that MS has been only succesfull in getting DLCs lately.the cost of omitting the other version is just too much that even MS can't afford to do it left and right(not gonna bother to even talk about sony and buying 3rd party exclusives).
