How on earth did you turn a new game that no console has that will have EXCLUSIVE content on the Xbox 360 into a reason NOT to get a 360?

because dead rising 1 is no longer  a reason for some one to get an X360?

what is there not to understand,,,an improved version of dead rising 1 will hit PS3 and 360.So people who like dead rising will get the new version.Dead rising is not exactly known for beautiful story or  setting. everything will be better in dead rising 2 as capcom's engines have improved over time.

So if Metal Gear Solid 5 goes multiplat, there is no reason to buy a PS3 for MGS4 ? (Not that it would happen, but it's basically the same logic)

 I think his logic was more like what happend earlier this gen (Ignoring the PS2 versions and stuff anyway):

Madden 06 was 'exclusive' to the 360 - didn't have a PS3 version. So when Madden 07 came out, Madden 06's 'exclusivity' was obselete because a better version was now multiplat. Obviously this particual example doesn't work cause the PS2 versions and stuff but the point holds true.

 With MGS it's out of context cause you'd miss the story, and once you miss the story, you miss most of that games appeal. He's saying Dead Rising isn't very story based like MGS, and the sequels appeal will improve the gameplay, rendering the previous version obselete, like Madden.

 Not saying I agree with him but I Can see where he's coming from. I'd quickly buy Dead Rising if it was ported to the PS3 (Not a chance I'll buy that Wii version lol), but yeah, carry on.

I wouldn't compare EA sports games with games from a different genre.

Anyway he must be some kind of psychic, because he knows EXACTLY that Dead Rising 2 will be better in EVERY way
