I never did understand the whole "lots of bad games = bad console!" argument. Most of the user-made maps on LittleBigPlanet consist of little more than piloting penis-rockets into the World Trade Center, so does that mean the map editor is useless?
Avoid the crap, buy the gems. Shouldn't be too hard for a gamer who knows his stuff, as there are more than enough good games available. Maybe not enough to be the only piece of gaming hardware for someone with very specific tastes, but definitely a worthy addition to any collection, especially in 2009.
