The Zune is awesome and the service and software is so much less intrusive than iTunes it's not even funny. I can even uninstall Zune and not have to manually clean my registry.

A. on the platform itunes was developed for its just drag and drop to get rid of it no uninstall required.

B. I blame windows for still having the registry that was supposed to be gone with vista... and wait its still here in seven.. god what an archaic pice of on an OS. Always fun digging around in there because some file got hosed that controls security in outlook, or hey look at that and end users spell check no longer works in any MS app... back to the registry.... you can use command line too, but thats a pain as well.

C. oh and incase you didnt know zune software leaves files behind lots of them scattered to the wind depending on your install of windows, but then every software on windows platforms do that.

sorry about the rant ..... I hate registry and feel that MS need to put out a new OS which only supports legacy software through a virtual machine that is built in and slowly faze out the old os there are just too many things wrong with the foundation its built on

MS needs to look at the OS9 to OSX transition copy and carry it out quicker.

god I hate registry and everything to do with the file structure in windows.....   though active directory can be fun on networked computers
