Today a local paper ran an article fanboy rant about how awesome the DS is, and used VGChartz numbers throughout the piece, including for Nintendogs software numbers. (The Star Tribune, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, is #13 in the US according to Wikipedia, with a distribution of over 345,000 daily and 574,000 on Sundays.) It took up most of the front page of E section and part of the back page. (E = "source", or tech/games/TV/movies/comics/art/food.) It included a giant picture of the DS on a nice-looking camera stand peripheral.

My advice to fanboys: Brag about stuff that's true, not about stuff that's false. Predict stuff that's likely, not stuff that's unlikely. You will be happier, and we will be happier.
