Kid Icarus : 2-d or 3-d ?

But to your primary question: I'd love to see something in 2D (on Wii!) but there's somewhere near-zero chance of that.

 

 the first megaman in 3d (megaman 64) was a disaster and castlevania has always been better in 2-d.

Megaman Legends preceded 64 (64 is a crappy port of it) and it's actually quite well-remembered.

And yes, CV is better in 2D (kinda like a lot of other 2D-->3D transitions--see Sonic, et al), but that doesn't mean that LOD wasn't a good game--it's just too bad that, instead of building on that, Konami threw it all away.
