520K splitting them

There's 50 weeks

That's 10K/week.

Unless Halo turns around and outsells SSBB during next christmas (very unlikely), I'd say Brawl should win fairly easily.

the issue for outselling it might be halo recon or what ever its called now will create a boost for halo 3 for a month, it will be very interesting to see how it all pans out

i forgot about that aspect.

It will most likely  pass it before then.

i really dont think so if brawl is only selling 20k more than it a week like it did *last* week. it would have to outsell it by 100k each week which i dont see happening. isn't halo recon in like march?

Halo Wars is in February/March. Halo ODST (which is Recon, right?) is Q3/Q4 I believe.

And Brawl won't keep up 20K/week. They are still a bit drugged on the holiday boost, and they will both drop a bit (to 20-30 vs 10-20K), halving the gap.

Brawl won't average much more of a win than 10K/week before the holiday kicks in

some kid came into gamestop the other day wanting to buy a wii. we had one, and i asked him which games hes going to get for it and he told me that he was going to buy brawl. instantly, i pulled out a new one and i took great pride in selling a brand new wii with a brand new copy of brawl. and i think that is something else that should be taken into account. the wii userbase is growing at a faster pace than 360s.
