I've actually grown tired of those that say Nintendo has full say on where the franchise goes. If there were a home console version, it would hinder the handheld sales. Who wants to play a game on a DS when they can play the game on a Wii? Pokemon is the strongest seller on Nintendo's handhelds so I don't think a full scale console game will be coming anytime soon.
Pixel Art can be fun.
