Soon after the Wii was released Nintendo started a new marketing strategy where they wouldn't release much information about upcomming games until they were close to being released ... As a result of this, we have had several titles (like Mario Kart) where little was know about them until they were officially announced a couple of months before they were released.
Unfortunately, this means that games like Punch Out and Pikmin 3 have been hinted at and/or confirmed but we know almost nothing about them and we don't know whether they are targeting a release of March 2009 or December 2010.
