this is one messed up thread...
Anyways We'll find out if they are selling them at a loss still by looking at the financials. As pointed out above by NJ5, the cost is for the console only. So you still need to factor in all the other costs associated with selling the console.
I'm sure they are getting closer, but until Sony announces they broke even, or they post healthy profits in the games division, I can't really believe they are making money on them.
