Because the Gamecube functionality isn't emulator based, it is the actual gamecube hardware. Therefore once you're going into GC mode, all Wii functionality is blocked, including the "Home" button.

I can highly recommend you REmake and Resident Evil 0 for GC. As well as Tales of Symphonia, Fire Emblem: Path of Radience and Skies of Arcadia (if you like J-games). Metroid Prime, Beyond Good & Evil and Eternal Darkness are awesome as well.

For Wii: RE4Wii, Okami, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, Metroid 3 and Shaun White.

VC is too much to name.

 

well ive got a official mem card now for gamecube, i just need an official pad. i have a gamecube pad but its a cheap copy one and it very rubbish to use.

res0 looks good cheers for recomendations. re: fire emblem il look into that in fact i think il just youtube a review for it.
