I mean, to use a movie comparison, no one minds that High School Musical or The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants exists, as long as they get their Terminator Salvations, Dark Knights, and I Am Legends.  But when a HSM video game appears, it's like the apocalypse.

I hate everything about HSM as well and wish it to disappear, so I got the joke.

I just picked that movie cuz it's a more well-known one, but no one cares that something like Sex and the City exists, as long as they don't have to watch it and movies that cater more to their tastes are still made.
