I was thinking more of Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles actually, which is a first person shooter, albiet it's an on-rails arcade shooter.
If they took that concept and expanded it though, especially with Wii Motion Plus and allowed players to stab zombies and bash them with 1:1 motion along with gun play ... that could be a hit for Capcom I think. Japanese devs like Capcom keep saying they want to appeal more to Western audiences ... well there's one way to do it.
Just an idea.
My general feeling on Wii FPS is the more realistic or "drab" FPS shooters won't work on the Wii. So World War II stuff ... probably not the best bet.
Stuff like survival horror FPS or more GoldenEye-esque FPS titles though (essentially more fantasy-based stuff) I think can work on the Wii.
