The thing with PSP is that the Greatest Hits title are selling. They are only $20 bucks and thats all most gamers need.
You'll the two GTA's, Daxter, Socom, and a few other on the second page every week.
A big thing against PSP is the HUGE lack of advertising. I hardly ever see a PSP game ad anywhere else than on gaming websites.
