Well Microsoft dropped the 479 euro launchprice when the gamecube was gonna to be released by a whopping 180 euro! making the xbox 299 against the 249 launch of the Gamecube..

The ps2 dropped it price fast to 999 gulden = about 450 euro then to 699 gulden = around 330 euro

And then the gamecube dropped it's price to 199.. and then to 99 in 2006?
