Well, their console saw a 130% increase in sales during December. This isn't exactly surprising... the fact that they use the percentage increase instead of raw numbers should teach us something 
Edit: They also said their console saw a 40% increase year over year. This isn't surprising, as well as the PS3 sold much better than last year during the first half of the year.
