Good, honest article. I enjoy casual games for their own merit, and I'm not abandoning ship, but there are too many shovelware titles to wade through currently. In a sense, the arguments that the big N has abandoned anyone but those who desire the most shallow of gaming experiences, seems plausible.
Let's hope for a diverse and serious effort in 2009.
