For once I actually think this was a well written article. There was no present or preexisting bias in it and was actually stated respectfully.
Although I think he's ignorant, which is pretty obvious, but he simply says Wii isn't for him. Now he jumps to far with his assumptions that its not for any "hardcore" gamers as he puts it but I must say this is one of the better written "jump ship from Wii" or "wii is casual only" type thing. He successfully points out that the problem with Wii is in him not in anyone else. But I do think he's being a little silly with the assumptions that there are no hardcore games for Wii in 2009 that anyone will like.
2009 is actually filled with your traditional games hardcore gamers will like so I think many would be happy. I disagree if you think now is the best time to jump ship because the ship is about to land. No use drowning a few miles away from shore.
