The PS3's third year is in 2009. It is only after 2009 that we will know how things will truly play out for the PS3 in the long run. This year has to be the year or else that 10 year plan is gone to hell. Either they slim down the gap or it widens. This all depends on how Sony decides to market and the people react during consumer decisions.
