LOL I totally butchered that name. When looked at quickly it looks like you were going for some form of the term "Badger Gnome" like the woodland mythical creature, my mistake.

And I know many JRPGs do not break a million but KH, FF, DQ,Pokemon, Megaman BN,Tales of, etc do break a million frequently. So it is not like it is impossible for it to. I mean, In general majority of games do not break 1million mark, that is mostly because of saturation and lack of quality. RPGs were a dime a dozen, many companies trying to cash in on what was made extremely popular by companies like Square. Same thing for FPS.

What I am saying is that most JRPGs don't break a million because they SUCK, or to a lesser extent are not different enough from one another.

I am saying WKC is looking(from first appearance with these numbers) that it will be the first RPG of this gen to actually break 1million, or at least be much closer to it then it's 360 counterparts. All Speculation of course.

It very well could hit a million, but since it's not likely to get that close in Japan alone if the typical Japanese buying pattern holds, it's probably going to depend heavily on Western sales. Now, looking at what JRPGs generally have sold (i.e. less than a million), I'd say that for all the flak it takes, the 360 hasn't done a horrible job of moving them. They're actually pretty par for the course so far- although ToV sales were pretty disappointing, but ToV marketing was also nonexistant, and it's also been hard to find on store shelves (probably the best marketing there is). And as the 360 is doing that with a tiny Japanese userbase, so we can derive from that that a lot of Western JRPG fans have been getting on board with the system.

Of course, that doesn't preclude them from having a PS3 as well. Since a lot of JRPG fans tend to be pretty hardcore, they're more likely to be willing to spend the money to have multiple consoles if it means getting to play the games they want. I think that the PS3 will move JRPGs about as well as its brand always has for just that reason, but we're looking at a home console market that's much more fragmented than last generation's, so we'll simply have to wait and see how things go.
