No I disagree, ps2 ads wont worK(Well maybe they will..)
The Play b3yond ads gave you an epic feel to the ps3, and the "like nothing you've ever seen before" ads where there best ads, and it pushed the ps3 in 2007.
I think they should break profit Q2 09, and come E3 introduce a $299 100gb model with LBP releasing in September, along with a $399 BC ps3 with killzone 2.
At the same time cut the PS3's price at e3 (the 80gb and discontinue it) to $279.99, and cut the 160gb to $379.99
Also cut the ps2 to $99.99 and depending on how well the ps3 does at the new price point, discontinue the ps2 in 2010.
I also think they should cut the psp to $139.99, and the bundled psp to $179.99
