Haven't you noticed why DMJ had to include the "HD" JRPG as a conditional?
WKC has yet to top any of these. It will overtake the Tales spinoff next week, but lifetime against Pokemon should be close. It doesn't have a chance at the Dragon Quest spinoff. Big name JRPG's on the Wii will sell, period. Have we already forgotten the announcement that DQX is arriving on the Wii? edit: Forgot to mention MH3. Only Mario on the Wii, right?

Ok so your saying that WKC wont be able to overtake the DQ spin off or any other Xbox game when it goes world wide which it seems more plausible given the fact the game outsold almost every JRPG's release in its stronghold on the Xbox in its first week and your saying it wont overtake any of those LTD sales?
Lets ignore the fact that Dragon Quest Swords has failed to pass a Million and its gone worldwide already or lets forget the fact that all the JRPG's on the 360 were released worldwide and lets look at the Japanese numbers. With The Last Remnant only selling 140,000 so far in Japan WKC has surpassed that. Blue Dragon which has been out since 06 has only 210,000 copies sold in Japan. Lost Odyssey which is the most successful JRPG(WorldWide) on the 360 sold a pitiful 100,000 LTD in Japan. And Finally the Best JRPG on the X360 Tales of Vesperia has only sold 160,000 copies in Japan so far and thats an Established title.
Most Wii RPGs have failed to go the 1m mark while it seems that WKC is on its way

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.
Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi
