There was one on mobile phones, so that's not true.
Games are not "connected to a brand". It's either exclusive or it isn't. If it's not first party, there needs to be a deal. Otherwise you go where the money is. S-E announced those games before Sony started falling from the top.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
