My family bought a computer in 1998. It wasn't specifically for gaming, but it was pretty great, it even had a Firewire port. It was good enough for Starcraft, and it played Diablo II. Blizzard games account for at least 80% of my Windows PC gaming to date. (On the Mac, Lode Runner and Oregon Trail and other MECC games probably skew the odds.)
