Well, GameSpot's award has gone to MGS4, IGN agrees with GameSpot a fair bit (well, they did last year, anyway)
But like you said, you can't base IGN's GoTY awards on logic, you base them on gut feeling. And my gut feeling says MGS4. I mean the whole 11/10 thing...
