Dude, your Mario Kart rants are completely wrong.

It has frigging online! What the f are you saying? It's the best MK since the SNES game. More characters, more vehicles (motorbikes), more tracks than in any MK before and you can have flawless 12 player online experience.

nice comparing the original that came out nearly 17 years ago.

can I compare the original from the new one too?  because Ninty fanboys here usually report people not agreeing with thier specific argument? oh hell I'll just do it.

The Original Mario Kart on the Snes had better difficult Tracks. Simply it makes MkWii Wii Courses look like a Ma Ma's Boy.

2. one of the best feature about MkSnes was if you place 5th to 8th you have to retry the course agian, making casuals players work harder to advance to the next course.

3. Items. MkWii and the previous installment went overboard thus ruining all focus into pure racing mk skills. In MkSnes no bullets, no gold mushroom,no big mushroom, no blue shells, no pows. thier is thunder but it does not effect like the one from the Wii version.

4. if you hold down y + a on the character selection you will see your character shrink, this will make the game a lot more difficult for the hardcore, wow i miss this one.

5. flat penal items it would have been great if Nintendo stick with this. Once it turns red that penal is done, if you played the original those item penals were limited too.

IMO the Snes version was the best for me, but i can see why casuals like MKwii better.

And your point is? All the features you name weren't in the N64 nor the GC version. Are those casual games as well? MK has always appealed to everyone. Like I said, MKWii is the best MK SINCE the SNES version, but apperantly for you that's not good enough, for the simple reason you don't want it to be good enough.

I can name dozens of games that are much simpler than games from the SNES era. Almost all of the games from the last 10 years are much more casual friendly than the average NES/SNES game. I guess casual gaming really started with the PS1 then?

Btw, if you really want a hardcore challenge try beating TWROo or Rol in an online match, or beating their timetrial times. Or is tmetrialling with online leaderboards really casual, simply because it's on Wii.

This guy races in the league sometimes and he's the best racer in it.  Just ask him.
