No one is actually buying the game, and current PS3 owners aren't buying the game either.  Every unit sold is a new unit bundled with a PS3, and every unit sold in America is sold to Christmas shoppers.

 Its hilarious to see these responses. The 2nd week of sales threads poped up left and right talking about how LBP sales aren't huge. and "It will be lucky to break a million in a year" and "LBP doesn't have legs." and "LBP will drop off charts in a few weeks"

And all these posters knew about christmas. It's not like Christmas was kept a secret.  But now LBP proved them wrong and now "But but but CHRISTMAS!"
