No... it really isn't. That's why this game: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kingdom_Hearts_%28series%29#Kingdom_Hearts_.28V_CAST.29 was able to be made without any involvement from Square whatsoever. SE owns nothing. They developed the game, and were paid for their development, as well as a slice of the sales profits I'm sure, but KH is not SE's franchise. It's Disney's.
