Sorry if this comes off as sounding overly harsh, but why don't you go and start your own site where you can make some ridiculously arbitrary rules about what people are and are not allowed to talk about. I mean the hypocrisy is boggling. It's perfectly ok in every second thread to say that the Wii has no good games and that you'd never buy a 360 because of RROD, because "they are facts".
The fact is that it appears PS3 needs a price cut to compete in sales with the other systems at the moment. The fact remains that Sony, quite rightly is now more worried about their bottom line than market share and so will not cut the price at the moment and in the short term that is the best business decision for them.
I agree that starting numerous "the PS3 needs a price cut" threads is quite pointless and kinda stupid, because i'm pretty sure Sony knows how to run their business a hell of alot better than most of the forum members. These threads are kept alive by indignant Sony fanboys outraged that people don't love Sony as much as them or insecure fans who are wondering if they bought the best system, rather than just being happy with the system they chose.
It's the same as if someone keeps saying the same thing over and over again, you just tune it out. I don't understand why people get so worked up about it. Don't click on the threads, don't respond to the threads and they will die a quick death, but everyone always feels the need to throw in their two cents worth, and then 2 more and then the trolling starts and then the thread spirals out of control and then someone else decides to start a better thread that will get to the heart of the issue and so on. Break the cycle.
