I believe this is a direct attack from IGN towards Nintendo

I agree, and that's absolutely ridiculous. It's not the job of game reviewers to shape and mold the game industry. As consumers, we depend on them to tell us what a game is like, and if it's worth buying. They stopped doing that a long time ago.

IGN writers, especially Matt, are tired of reviewing games. They want to be developers. Every other article is,

"How Developers Could Make Animal Crossing Deeper"
or
"How developers should use the Wiimote for Aiming"
or
"Buy this game in order to influence publishers"

IGN, by their own admission, hold very little sway in consumer's minds, so they're just screaming their disdain for Wii into the black hole of gaming forums.

I wish they'd can their agenda and review games. If a game is decent, don't trash it because it's a symbol of a gaming style you hate. If a game is mediocre, don't praise it because you hope there will be better versions of it someday. We just want honest reviews, not agenda pushing.

Another thing, I've REALLY gotten tired of the "what characters we'd love to see in this game when it comes out" that they use on almost every single game. I stopped reading IGN a few years ago because it became so redundant and boring, and I always heard Matt crying to himself like a baby in the corner whenever I was reading his articles. I hate the sound of crying babies.

Wha?

I really don't understand Wii fanboys obession with conspracy theories for every game media hates the Wii. Now you think this is an attack on Nintendo. Come on, grow up!

What? I was just adding to his list about what he hates about IGN's writers. I find it old and boring, that's all I was saying. I didn't say anything about conspiracies, I didn't say anything about this being an attack on Nintendo, so I have no idea what drugs you're on as you're reading my posts. They must be great, though. =D

Also I'm not a Wii fanboy, and randomly labeling me as such is an ignorant thing for you to do and just plain not nice, so I have no idea why you'd do that. Do you feel better about yourself for insulting others?
