Nah, not from what I understand. It certainly didn't happen to me. Just to be safe, though, you can make a quick strike when you gift your foreign Tim, and then change it straight back to your own country. You should do that anyway, actually, since Santa can't gift you while you've set your game to another country.

 

Cool that's about what I did, I'm back being a Canadian Wii now!
