It's really interesting to compare how different the 3 main European markets (UK, France, Germany) are, software-wise. In the present case, the German market seems to have gone full-handheld (DS).
The transition to the next/current generation seems pretty slow, as illustrated by the still strong PS2 software sales, and the inability of the PS3/360 titles (and to a lesser extent, Wii titles) to remain more than 2 weeks in the top 10. In term of trends, that makes it the closest to the Japan market.
Glad to see that Professor 'Layton' is doing fine in Germany too.
Regarding the other charts, there isn't really anything to say, outside that it's pretty apparent that the winners of this Christmas season have already been decided.
