last time i checked S-E had 2 exclusive games coming to PS3- FFXIII and FFXIIIvs. how many on other consoles have exclusives for S-E? that right there should show you where their efforts are being focused.

Xbox360:

Project Sylpheed

Wii:

Final Fantasy: Chrystal Chronicles: Crystal Bearers
Chocobo's Dungeon: The City of Forgotten Time
Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors

PS3:

Final Fantasy XIII
Final Fantasy XIII Vs.

Sony definitely has the most significant exclusives in Final Fantasy XIII and its spinoff, but it's not nearly as clearcut this generation as it was last. And given Square's statement that they won't make any more PS3 games (beyond those already in production) until the user base grows significantly, I assume the love will be even further spread around. I'd still call them PS3-centric (in terms of home consoles, at least), but again, not nearly as clear a Sony focus as there was, say, 4 years ago.

Consider, for example, that the original Xbox got zero games from Square Enix at all. None. Nothing. Now, they have Final Fantasy XI, Project Sylpheed, and Last Remnant, one of which is a 360 exclusive, all within the first two years of the console's existance. Is that enormous amounts of love? No. But going from "nothing" to "a decent amount of support" is a noticable shift.
