I'm sorry but I don't see how half of you people can believe what you're saying.
Fist of all, this nonsense that the Wii "can't have good stories" goes out the window with Twlight Princess. Actually, it went out of the window beforehand because consoles don't mangle storylines. It just doesn't make sense any kind of way you try to spin it.
Second, you'd have to be born yesterday to actually use the "graphics" argument. The previous Kingdom Hearts was on the PS2 of all things, and RPGs started with pen and paper. THERE WERE NO GRAPHICS.
Third and finally, Kingdom Hearts would probably retain more of its identity on Wii than PS3. The more Super Realistic HD the game becomes, the more jarring disparities between art styles grows. On the plus side, Disney environments would probably look the most realistic ever...on the negative side, Disney environments aren't really supposed to look realistic, and seeing Sora with a million polygons next to Aladdin with his long face and generally goofy appearance will send that message home constantly.
Wii has, hands down, better graphical capabilities than the PS2 but isn't pushing for Super Realistic HD like the PS3. SE would no doubt upgrade KH accordingly, but it'll give them time to figure out some artsy solution to the HD problem until next gen when it won't be avoidable.
