It would make perfect sense for the rumor to be true. Of all the consoles only the Wii will allow them to penetrate evey region without porting. Making the game for the PS3 will hurt sales worldwide. Making the game for the 360 will kill Japanese sales. From a business standpoint the Wii is the way to go.
