It´s to early to tell if the PS3 will sell good but it had a nice start (btw Germany was really not that good as I said - about 50k sold that´s what the Wii sold the first day and it was sold out so the numbers could´ve been much higher)
To the comercials: No, this is nothing against the PS3 itself but do you have a guess what european users would describe a good comercial?
When I saw the PS3 spots first my thought was: "F*ck. They really f*cked up." nothing different and I asked about 5 of my friends and everyone said the "this is living" comercial is horrible. Nothing but horrible.
Everyone I asked said it was the worst commercial for any videogame console they had ever seen. But maybe the americans like this way of advertisment.
In Europe we like advertisment to be stilysch too - but you should know what the comercial IS about. And when I see a guy in his bath laughing and trying to shoot himself I don´t think of a PS3... 
(In fact I thought it was something about some new medicaments or so... and I watched the spot 2 times and zapped over it till I realized it was a PS3 comercial... and most of my friends didn´t even know it was)
