The point I am making is that rational predictions almost never come true this generation, because we have a mad man on the loose. You might as well toss out all rhyme and reason. Sony is bound and determined to cause all sorts of mayhem. From creating a ridiculously overpriced console to offering up two hundred dollars in price cuts in the first year. So you basically have to throw out insane predictions to have any semblance of a chance.

Before anyone says he is bashing its the Sony craziness that spawned the insanity this generation. Before Sony started down its path of madness nobody was expecting half the shit that went down. Sony set off a nuclear device with their price point, and never looked back.

the rest of your post is somewhat incoherent/ranting, but you sure hit the nail on the head with the bolded. That price was the worst thing that ever happened to Sony. Totally moronic. I'll never forget seeing that at E3 2006. I was like: What The F***?...
