LBP actually sold extremely well, over 500k WW first week.
I think he should be the mascot, absolutely. It used to be Jak and Ratchet, but they were never official.
If you look at the best selling exclusive on PS2, you get Gran Turismo. A car wouldn't be a very good exclusive, would it? There used to be FF7, but FF went multiplat.
I don't suppose Kratos would make a good mascot? Sackboy is perfect for the role.
