why do you say that? I thought 2008 was pretty damn good for both consoles...
OT: well, at this point, I would definitely say it is practically impossible for Sony to win NA unless they do something like drop the PS3 to $199 tomorrow. Still, I think a lot of you are underestimating the PS3's sales potential. You make the point that the 360 has a 203k YoY increase and while that is a very stunning increase, it isn't affecting the PS3's sales all too much as it had a 27k YoY increase (despite the crappy enconomy).
Not trying to be a fanboy. Of course, it's hard when you own the best console eve... dang it
