I wouldn't mind fooling around with a well thought out(fits the story and atmosphere) multi-player mode in Metroid games. But I'd much rather that time and manpower be used in crafting the single player game. The Metroid games are arguably the best games of all time. So as long as the newer games live up to their pedigree, I could care less if they have multi-player.
