Yeah. The reason that the widespread use of FPA for the Primes is because its so different from what people would expect from a FPS. While i agree that metroid is an "adventure in the first person", the game is a FPS because the game has a heavy focus on shooting, and throughout most of the game you'll find yourself pressing that A button (or B).
Simply put, Prime is a FPS, but its more than that, and FPS doesn't describe the game justly, so for a better description they/we name it FPA.
But what i hate is when people run with it, in a desperate attempt to make it "better than" or distant from Halo. They start to say its not a FPS at all, and get into this "elitist" mode. But people can believe what they like.
