Massive third party support will be comin' in a very progressive way, but like many already said, it's not that important in late 2007 or early 2008, as Nintendo's next big hits will be huge system sellers, and take most of the money of previous Wii owners...
But later, i think it will all depend on a handful of titles with real "mass appeal"... when a good Star War game will be out there, or when the next GTA will be out there, then some 3rd parties will have massive hits as well, and prove to the rest of the industry Wii's the place to be...
After that point, we'll see even more games comin', and then case's closed, Wii will have the same kind of catalog than PS2, many kinds of games for all the kinds of gamers out there, and of course, many hits and many flops, as usual on any platform... but expect some masterpieces along the way...
