am i the only person on planet earth that can't seem to like any metroid?

A lot of people don't like Metroid. The sales would indicate that.

There are too many puzzles for it to be a shooter and too much shooting to be an adventure game. It lies somewhere in between and in this way turns a lot of people off.

Now for people that enjoy both adventure games and shooters this is heaven.

I love Metroid but understand why somebody wouldn't.
